How many times have you been to Oktoberfest?
I went to Oktoberfest for the first time in 2014 and hope to go back there next year.
Tell us a bit about your experience.
I always wanted to go to Oktoberfest. When I finished my study I had a little more free time and I thought that I must go there right now! It was the end of the second week of Oktoberfest when I visited. Just two days but it was great!
What’s your favourite thing about the festival?
One thing about Oktoberfest which was amazing for me: 7 million people over just 2 weeks – incredible! I wanted to see this all and drink the beer, which is the best. What surprised me was the number of attractions for children and families. Everything there is very colorful and friendly. Nobody can be bored at this place!
The perfect match for a pretzel? Beer of course!
What would you tell someone who’s never been to Oktoberfest and is thinking about going?
Don’t think about it – just go!
Your favourite beer tent / ride / food?
My favorite beer tent is the Löwenbräu tent where I spent a lot of time. With the food I didn’t have a big choice because I am vegetarian so for me the best combination was beer with German pretzel.
Anything else you’d like to say about this epic event.
Oktoberfest has such great atmosphere and people. I met a lot of Polish friends and other visitors from all over the world. I was speaking with people from Australia, Irleand and even Argentina. This is really epic that people travel thousands of kilometers just for Oktoberfest. I just loved it and I think that this event is something special and everyone who likes to visit new places should go at least once to Munich.
