The beer tents shall rise again! Construction for the 2025 Oktoberfest in Munich will officially begin in the first week of July 2025, about 2 1/2 months before the start of the world’s largest folk festival.

Over a 10-week period the Wiesn, as the festival grounds are known, will transform into Munich’s biggest construction site. Excavators, forklifts, trucks and hundreds of workers will ensure the stalls, rides, a post office, and most importantly the beer tents will rise just in time for Oktoberfest Opening Day on September 20th 2025.
