Oktoberfest Beer Consumption tops 6.7 Million Liters

After two weeks of festivities, Oktoberfest ended on Sunday with another set of staggering statistics. Over 6.4 million visitors, 6.7 million liters of beer consumed and 638 “beer corpses” to name a few.

While beer consumption didn’t reach the levels of the previous years (6.9 million liters in 2012 and a record-breaking 7.5 million liters in 2011), visitor numbers remained unchanged from last year’s Oktoberfest.
