Where To Go When the Lights Go Out at Oktoberfest
Life after Oktoberfest at Munich’s famous After Parties
Oktoberfest doesn’t have to end every night when the beg tents close (around 10pm) – there’s still a lot to do and see around Munich. It seems like the whole festival migrates to the Käfer Wiesn-Schänke tent first (it’s open until 1am) and only if you’re lucky or left your table early on the off chance you’d manage to get a seat there, it’ll be incredibly hard to get in.
What’s more, the festivities seem to keep going even after the smaller tents have closed. The Oktoberfest after-parties are legendary and so are many of the clubs they take place in – Das Wiesnzelt and the Löwenbräukeller for example.
Munich is famous for its nightlife and when Oktoberfest is in full swing, so are the clubs. Many can be quite difficult to get into (just like the more popular beer tents) but as always, once you’re in you’re in!
The party never stops at the Wiesnzelt!
